Does This Product Really Work? - Mario Badescu Silver Powder

The silver powder by Mario Badescu was made to absorb excess skin oils and rid of pesky blackheads. I initially bought this product to try and minimize my blackheads, obviously. But when buying I had the main question of if this product would really work stuck in my head. Yes, I could read multiple reviews, which I did, that would (and did) end up being mixed reviews, so I bought the product myself to try and answer my question.

The directions for this product read as follows, "Dip a water-dampened cotton pad into powder—creating a paste-like texture—and press on the T-zone (focusing on the nose and chin area). Wait 10 minutes and remove by wiping off with a toner. To be used 1-2 times a week." My only critiques for anything concerning the directions is after the paste dries on the skin, it tends to start flaking off and getting stuck on fabrics, but that is to be expected as it is a powder.

After rinsing the powder, I noticed most of my blackheads to be minimized or completely gone. For the exception of a couple of loosely covered spots, I would say this product works fairly well. Plus, this leaves your skin feeling super soft. At $12 a pot, I would say this product IS worth it.
